MAG boxes from Infomir do not use apps at all. They connect through a portal link that we create for your box's MAC address, so setup is a quick exchange on WhatsApp followed by a few button presses on the remote.
You will need your MAG box connected to your TV and to the internet, its remote, and access to the sticker on the back or underside of the box. Setup works on the MAG 254, 256, 322, 324, 420, 424 and newer Infomir models.
A MAG box identifies itself by its MAC address, a hardware ID that starts with 00:1A:79. Instead of a username and password, we register that address on our side and send you a portal URL. Once the portal is saved, the box loads your channels, the TV guide and on-demand library every time it starts, with nothing else to log in to.
Find the sticker on the back or underside of the box. The MAC address looks like 00:1A:79:xx:xx:xx. Send it to us on WhatsApp, ideally with a photo of the sticker so there is no typing mistake.
We register your box and reply with a portal URL made for it. Keep that message open, because you will type the link in the next step.
On the box, go to Settings, then System Settings, then Servers, then Portals.
For Portal 1 name, type any name you like, such as CosyTelly. For Portal 1 URL, type the link we sent you exactly, including every slash.
Press OK to save, go back and restart the portal or the box. Live TV loads within a minute.
Check the portal URL is entered exactly as sent, with no extra spaces, then restart the box. The first load can take a minute while the channel list downloads.
We need to register your MAC address before the portal works. Send us a clear photo of the sticker so we can double-check every character.
Restart the box and your router. If only a few channels fail, send us their names and we will look into them.
A different box has a different MAC address. Send us the new one and we will move your subscription across to it.
Yes. The portal and an app like IPTV Smarters Pro can share your subscription, but a 1-connection plan plays on one screen at a time, so choose 2 connections if both are often in use.
