How to set up IPTV UK on Formuler and Dreamlink

Formuler Z boxes and Dreamlink devices come with a built-in IPTV app, MyTVOnline. Instead of installing anything, you add a portal and log in with the portal URL, username and password we send you.

Before you start

You will need your Formuler Z box (Z8, Z10, Z11 and similar) or Dreamlink box connected to the internet, its remote, and your CosyTelly portal URL, username and password. Typing a URL with a remote is slow, so plug in a USB keyboard if you have one.

How it connects

How MyTVOnline connects to CosyTelly

MyTVOnline is designed around portals: a saved connection that holds your channel list, TV guide and on-demand library. CosyTelly connects Formuler boxes with login required turned on, which means the portal uses a username and password rather than your box's MAC address. It is quicker to set up, and you can move it to a new box yourself.

Once connected, MyTVOnline gives you a proper TV-style experience: a full programme guide, favourites you can reorder, catch-up on supported channels and the on-demand library in the same menus. Formuler boxes are built for IPTV, so they handle 4K channels comfortably on a good connection.

Step by step

Step by step: add CosyTelly in MyTVOnline

1

Open the MyTVOnline app

Open MyTVOnline 2 or MyTVOnline 3 from the home screen. On a Dreamlink box, open the DOL2 app instead.

2

Add a portal

Go to Menu, then Connections, and select Add Portal.

3

Name the portal

Enter any portal name you like, for example CosyTelly.

4

Turn on Login Required

Switch Login Required on. Extra boxes for a username and password appear.

5

Enter your login

Type the portal URL, username and password from your CosyTelly message, exactly as written, including capital letters and every slash in the URL.

6

Connect

Press Connect. Your channels, TV guide and on-demand library load, and the portal is saved for next time.

Do not use a MAC address on Formuler. CosyTelly connects Formuler and Dreamlink boxes with a username and password. A MAC-based portal will not work, so always turn Login Required on.

Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting IPTV on Formuler

Connect does nothing

Check that Login Required is switched on and that the username and password boxes are filled in. Without them the portal cannot connect.

Channels don't load

Make sure the portal URL starts with http:// and that the username and password match exactly. Restart the MyTVOnline app and connect again.

Where do I find the portal URL?

It is in the WhatsApp message we send when your order or trial is confirmed, together with your username and password. Lost it? Message us and we will resend it straight away.

Which MyTVOnline version do I have?

Newer Formuler Z models run MyTVOnline 3, while older ones run MyTVOnline 2. The steps above are the same in both.

I have a Dreamlink box

Dreamlink devices use the DOL2 app. The menu names are almost identical: add a portal, turn on login and enter your details.

The TV guide is empty

Guide data can take a few minutes to download the first time. Open the portal settings and refresh the EPG, or restart MyTVOnline, and the listings appear.

Can I use the same login in an app as well?

Yes. Your CosyTelly username and password also work in apps such as IPTV Smarters Pro, but a 1-connection plan plays on one screen at a time.

Still stuck? Message us on WhatsApp with your device, the app you are using and a photo of any error, and we will sort it out with you.

Questions

Formuler IPTV FAQ

Which Formuler app do I use?

MyTVOnline 2 or MyTVOnline 3 on Formuler Z boxes. On Dreamlink devices, open the DOL2 app instead. All three use the same portal login, so the steps on this page work for each.

Should I connect with my MAC address?

No. CosyTelly connects Formuler boxes with a portal URL, username and password. MAC-based portals are not used on Formuler.

My channels don't load after connecting. What now?

Check Login Required is switched on and that the portal URL starts with http://. If it still does not load, message us and we will check your details.
